This site stores nothing about you. No account, no database, no cookies, no tracking, no third parties. What you enter is in the address of this page — and nowhere else.

What you enter

Body height, inseam, frame measurements and the complaint are in the query part of the address. They are worked out on the server and forgotten with the answer: there is no database and no session they could be written to. To keep your entries, save a bookmark — the link is the storage, and it is yours.

What the server logs

Every page request on the internet leaves a trace on the server. Here it is deliberately trimmed: the query part of the address is removed before writing (your body measurements would otherwise be in it), the referrer likewise, the user agent is never written at all, and of the IP address only the network remains, not the connection. What is left is enough to spot an attack and not enough to recognise you.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The entries are overwritten after a short time.

If you write to me

There is a form on the feedback page. What you write there is forwarded to me by email and not kept afterwards: there is no database for it to go into, and it is not written to the access log. If you give an email address, I use it for the reply alone.

What happens to the mail after that depends on my mailbox — it sits there until I delete it. The legal basis is your wish to write to me (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). So that the form is not buried by programs, the server counts per network range how many messages arrived in the last hour; that count lives in memory and is gone at the next restart.

Cookies and third parties

None. This site sets no cookie, embeds no font, script or image from a foreign address, and measures nothing. The 3D view loads its files from the same server. That is also why there is no consent banner here: there would be nothing to consent to.

Two places lead outside, and both only on a click: the links to the manufacturers' geometry tables and — if configured — the donation button. Both are set so that your browser does not send the address of this page along; otherwise your measurements would end up in someone else's log. What happens there is governed by their privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. An access request will get a short answer, though: apart from the trimmed log lines there is nothing that could be attributed to a person.

Hosting

The site is hosted at netcup. The provider processes the connection data named above on our behalf.
